Sage Analytical Lab provides a plethora of counterfeit detection techniques suited to meet your needs. “Our staff includes members of the G19 committee, which is responsible for setting the SAE standards for counterfeit detection,” said Moe Homayonieh, President of Sage Analytical Lab, LLC. “With our years of experience in this field, submissions may be characterized to any extent requested, from visual inspection down through electrical characterization.”

- - Decapsulation, with gold, aluminum, or copper bond wires left intact
  - Incoming inspection of die and package markings

  - X-ray inspection of packaging and bond wires, and checks for bond wire stacking
  - Electrical measurement and characterization
  - Rigorous inspection for:
  - Blacktopping

  - Various other physical cover-up techniques

All of our high resolution images and observations are then compiled into a single report summarizing our findings. Submitted parts may then be scrapped at our facility, or shipped back to the customer.
